The Cordulid is a pattern developed here in Australia for chasing fish after dark in stillwaters when the mudeyes are on. This fly can be fished anywhere in the water column from the top to the bottom. However in the middle of the night in stillwaters this pattern puts out a great mudeye profile when viewed from below or the side and so is best fished near the surface or in midwater. A Snowy Mountain's lake favourite. Suggested Uses - jindabyne, eucumbene, lakes, stillwaters, mudeye hatch
