This fly is brilliant despite it being a traditional tie. Very similar to the Adams, it works very well when duns are hatching in rough water and is a firm favourite of many of our clients who visit New Zealand regularly.
Fished in the larger sizes on last light and in rough water, it works well in north east Victoria and the Snowys, where it no doubt passes for the huge kossie or kosciusko dun.
