The grey version of this fly is a good pattern and the description is as per the rust coloured version. Tied a bit heavier than our standard parachutes with an oversize/bulky wing, it floats remarkably well in rough water. Carrying a few of these along with the Bushy's Dun in grey is advised for when the fish are picky.
The wing can be trimmed with some careful use of scissors. The dark wing really stands out when there is a lot of glare, providing a dark dot of contrast to the shiny surface of the water.
