A good stonefly to have on hand when fishing early in the season. These critters appear on our rivers and lakes in September, October and November in large numbers and are not often noticed by the fly fishers on the water. Their jittered flight is noticeable to all who are looking hard and this is the fly to use when you see them. Fished to risers or carefully searched through pools and in the bubble lines. Suggested Uses, early season, newlyns, rubicon, goulburn
