Way back last millennium (1999) we said the following 'We are not totally familiar with this fly, it having 'secretly' evolved over the past five years in Tasmania. However it is not hard to see why it works and why several prominent local guides consider it a favourite. A red tag variant with a few subtle alterations that will soon be a Tasmanian must have.' In the interim we have used it when sight fishing fish in shallow margins of the western lakes and in 100 feet of water in the windlanes of Great lake. A good tassie pattern.
