While most of the nymphs in Australia are dark in colour, this fly will imitate those from lighter coloured stream beds. As a result it is perfect for fishing in NZ where many species of nymphs are quite pale. This fly will get down to the bottom quick due to the tungsten bead and is therefore highly sought after by those heading across the Tasman before Christmas.
