Good pattern in the fastest, roughest stretches of river. Great in certain rivers on the South Island it also works well in the top end of the Rubicon. A generalist Stonefly pattern it is suggestive of them rather than imitative. This is an excellent pattern where Stonefly are present but the angler is not sure of their exact detail.
