The Tassie dun is a version of the much heralded Highland Dun pattern. Having a richer/darker colour, some believe that it is more visible in the often dull light and rough water so often associated with dun hatches on the plateau.
Personally I would purchase more of the Highland Duns and get a handful of these at most to have something different in the arsenal.
