This pattern is another that has been around for ages and we will not retell the story of its origins here, as some of you may have just eaten dinner! A good fly that can be used when either duns or spinners are on the water or as a blind searching pattern when you don't want a garish wullff or stimulator tie. Great in the canopied streams in the hills, it almost glows against a dark background.
