Every fly shop carries a white moth pattern! And hardly a day goes by during summer when someone does not come in looking for them. Caddis are very noticeable in the Goulburn Valley from October onwards. Their colouration, long life and tendency to show up every afternoon/evening make them a major food source for the fish. This pattern is good for fishing in the lee of the willow trees that line the Goulburn River. The still pockets out of the wind in behind these trees act as a magnet to both caddis and caddis feeding fish. Try one of these patterns in conjunction with an elk hair caddis for an each way bet!
