The White Wulff is generally used when there is an abundance of Snowflake Caddis. Deliberately fishing something larger than the natural is a ploy we often use to take fish that are presented with thousands of the naturals hovering above the water. Also works well as an attractor in alpine and sub alpine streams and is quite a handy strike indicator on dark days.
