This is a product that I have had to eat a lot of humble pie over. I initially didn't want to get them as I have an aversion to cammo gear. Anything that looks like it belongs at a Mississippi BBQ and the owner likely to be brandishing a shotgun and wearing mirrored sunglasses as in Cool Hand Luke. I mean we may as well start selling Rebel flags!

How wrong I was. This is the best boonie I have ever come across. It is lightweight, extremely durable, packable, breathable, has a built in sweat band and comes in the best colours for stalking fish either side of the Tasman.

These are now our standard hat for long summer days. A fly patch can easily be attached to it and the chin strap ensures you don't lose it when the wind decides to blow.
