Our Fly of the Month for April
The Tassie Shaving Brush looks just like its title except this one definitely has a chocolate flavour about it. Its April, its Easter and what better than this chocolate coloured fly to match my sweet tooth. No not to eat just to look at.
This fly inspired by a Tassie fly tier does a great job because the foam head makes the fly basically unsinkable. Used throughout the lakes of Tasmania when the famous Dark Dun occurs this fly represents the emerging stage. Even trout like a chocolate fix. Fish in the Ballarat lake district also fancy a chocolate fix.
