Our Fly Of The Month - YELLOW SALLY

We found the original pattern in a Montana fly shop.    The natural insect it represents is a Yellow Stonefly.     Our Yellow Sally has a green body as apposed to the yellow bodied American pattern.

We trailed it on the Goulburn in small hook sizes - #16,  #18,  #20  -  during the caddis hatches.      The results were outstanding.      It will even bring up fish during the day when flighted caddis are not about.

A Spring Summer fly.      Don't get caught without it.
