Part 2:  Gear and the Guide.    In preparation for the next days fishing Gill started with checking out our fishing gear. Waders good, wading boots with cleats good, C F Burkheimer spey rods very good, Skaget shooting head lines #8 and #9 weights, all good.

Shooting backing lines, braided leaders and large arbor reels we used our saltwater reels.   This Spey fishing thing is sounding like a foreign language .  Westcoast can supply most of this.    Just to make it more interesting, the rods are13 foot plus long and  you need three different spey casting styles.   Gill to the rescue 30 Years guiding he knows his stuff.
