Salmon Fly Fishing British Columbia Canada

Part 1:      Our  first glimpse of the beautiful city of Vancouver was a welcoming and spectacular sight after our Air New Zealand flight across the Pacific.

The next days two hour flight over continuous snow capped mountains  to Terrace was again spectacular.    We were met by our hostess Mandi and her two dogs, an instant hit with Nella.   A quick trip into town over the Skeena river for provisions and then to our home base at Westcoast Fishing Adventures where we were met by our guide, for the next six day, Gill.

The Skeena river is the second largest river in B C  and as big rivers go is huge.   We Aussies would say its a monster.
