Summer Fly Fishing Tips & Best Christmas Wishes.

Best fly fishing is yet to come with Hopper numbers building up.    Stock up on Beetle patterns, Termites and other terrestrials.        Its heads up time for  trout in this Summer part of the fishing season as, by accident, large quantities of insects find themselves stuck on the surface of the river.    Both in the high country and lowlands.    Bang a Miss Knobby X along the edge of a high banked pool and whoopee, up comes a trout.    Drift a Royal Humpy through a riffle and again up comes a trout.

Dave's Tip:   Fish two dry flies about 60cm apart with the bulker fly at the point end.    They don't need to be the same fly pattern.
