The New Zealand South Island
The New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern living and working on the North Island does not see the potential for a South Island bubble between Melbourne and Christchurch or Queenstown. What a shame all the fly fishers who used make the annual pilgrimage have miss out as the season is now finishing although there are some places that stay open. Then there is the up coming ski season. With no bubble the millions of dollars will no be put into the NZ coffers. It's sad when the seat of power is on one Island and can't see across the Cook Strait to a tourism bonanza in the south. Vaccinated they would come!
