The upper reaches of the King may be a bit high but the pools down the valley are just right.
Caddis, mayfly and stonefly are here in greater numbers than in Spring as the water has warmed up.
Caddis pupa are in large numbers and the evening rise is happening.

I know they spray the vines along the valley, and heres that word again, terrestrials: ants, beetles, hoppers cicadas all make their homes along the river. Lovely valley, lovely river have a glass of red for me.
