Rubicon River

Fishing on the Rubicon can be good as there is about 12 kms of fishable water. The steep fall after leaving the forest to the confluence with the Goulburn makes for quick clearing.  The Rubicon starts high in the Great Divide with spring snowmelt from Lake Mountain keeping the water cold.
